1. ABOUT THIS POLICY
This policy explains how Raydius Corporation ("Raydius," "we," "us") handles personal information in connection with our website at raydius.co and our sales and marketing activities.
What this policy covers: information about people who visit our website, fill out our forms, subscribe to our email list, contact our support team, or whom we contact as business prospects.
What this policy does not cover: information belonging to our clients or to their guests. When Raydius performs services for a client venue, that client's business data and their guests' information remain the client's property and are governed by our written services agreement with that client, not by this policy. Raydius does not combine client data with our own databases. If you are a guest of a venue that works with Raydius and you have questions about your information, please contact that venue directly.
2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Information you give us. When you request a Visitor Blueprint, subscribe to our newsletter, submit a support ticket, or otherwise contact us, we may collect your name, your business email address and phone number, your company or venue name, role, and location, information about your business that you choose to share with us, and the contents of your messages to us.
Information we collect automatically. When you visit raydius.co, we and our analytics and advertising providers may automatically collect your IP address and the general location derived from it, your browser type, device type, and operating system, the pages you viewed and links you clicked, the website or advertisement that referred you to us, and cookie and similar identifiers.
Information we obtain from business data providers. Raydius uses commercial business-contact databases to identify owners and operators of location-based entertainment venues who may be a fit for our services. Through these providers we may obtain your name, business title, company name, business email address, and business phone number, even if you have never visited our website or contacted us. If you were contacted by Raydius this way and want your information removed, email us and we will delete it. See Section 8.
Billing and payment information. If you become a Raydius client, our service agreements and payment authorizations are completed through a third-party electronic signature platform, and payments are processed by a third-party payment processor. Bank account numbers and credit card numbers are entered directly into those platforms, not into raydius.co, and Raydius does not store full account or card numbers on our website. Those platforms handle that information under their own privacy terms.
Information we do not collect. We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information through our website. We do not ask for Social Security numbers, government ID numbers, precise geolocation, biometric data, health information, or information about your race, religion, sexual orientation, or union membership. We do not currently conduct SMS or text-message marketing.
3. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We use the information described above to respond to your requests and prepare the reports or analyses you ask for; schedule and conduct sales conversations; send marketing emails and newsletters you have subscribed to, or that are relevant to your business role; contact potential clients about our services; understand how visitors find and use our website, and improve it; measure the performance of our advertising; provide customer support and handle billing questions; meet our legal, tax, and recordkeeping obligations; and protect our website and our business against fraud and misuse.
We do not use your information to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
4. COOKIES, ANALYTICS, AND ADVERTISING
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. Some are necessary to make the site work. Others help us understand site traffic or measure advertising.
The third-party services that may set cookies or collect information on our site include Wix, our website hosting platform, which provides built-in visitor analytics; Google Analytics, for website traffic and behavior measurement; and Meta, for advertising measurement and audience building.
Managing cookies. You can decline non-essential cookies through the consent banner on our site. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings, though parts of the site may not work as well. Most browsers offer a "Do Not Track" setting; because there is no common industry standard for honoring it, our site does not respond to those signals.
Advertising. We use Google and Meta advertising tools to show our services to people who have visited our website or who match a business profile similar to our clients. To opt out, see Section 6.
5. HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION
We do not sell your personal information for money.
We do share personal information with the following categories of third parties, for the purposes described:
Website hosting and analytics providers, to operate and measure our website.
Advertising platforms, to deliver and measure our advertising.
Customer relationship management platform, to store and manage sales and marketing records.
Business contact data providers, to identify and verify business prospects.
Email marketing platform, to send newsletters and marketing email.
Consent management platform, to operate our cookie consent banner.
Payment processor and accounting platform, to invoice clients and process payments.
Electronic signature platform, to send and execute agreements.
Professional advisors, to obtain legal, accounting, and insurance services.
Government authorities, when required by law, subpoena, or valid legal process.
An acquirer, if Raydius is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
We require the service providers we use to protect the information we share with them and to use it only for the services they perform for us.
A note on advertising. Under California law, using advertising cookies to show you ads on other websites counts as "sharing" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, even though no money changes hands. We do this, and you can opt out. See Section 6.
6. YOUR PRIVACY CHOICES
Anyone, in any location, may unsubscribe from marketing email by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing message, or by emailing us; opt out of advertising cookies by declining non-essential cookies in our consent banner, or by emailing us; ask us to delete your information by emailing us; and ask what we hold about you by emailing us.
We will not deny you services, charge you a different price, or provide you a lower quality of service because you exercised a privacy right.
7. STATE PRIVACY RIGHTS
If you live in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, or Virginia, you have some or all of the following rights, depending on your state:
Know and access. Confirm whether we process your personal information and get a copy of it.
Correct. Fix inaccurate personal information we hold about you.
Delete. Ask us to delete your personal information.
Portability. Receive your information in a portable format.
Opt out of targeted advertising. Tell us to stop sharing your information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Opt out of sale. We do not sell personal information, but you may exercise this right regardless.
Opt out of profiling. We do not engage in profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
Limit use of sensitive information. We do not collect sensitive personal information through our website.
Non-discrimination. Exercise your rights without penalty.
California residents may also request the categories of personal information we collected, the sources we collected it from, our purposes for collecting it, and the categories of third parties we disclosed it to. This policy describes all of these in Sections 2, 3, and 5.
Authorized agents. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We will ask the agent for proof of your written permission, and we may ask you to verify your identity directly.
8. HOW TO EXERCISE YOUR RIGHTS
Email us at the address in Section 14, or write to us at the mailing address there.
What happens next. We will acknowledge your request and respond within 45 days. If we need more time, we will tell you why and may extend once by an additional 45 days. To protect your information, we will ask you to verify your identity, usually by confirming information we already have on file. We do not charge a fee for a reasonable request.
Appeals. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our response with the word "Appeal" and telling us why you disagree. We will respond to your appeal within 45 days, or 60 days in some states. If we deny your appeal, we will tell you how to contact your state attorney general to file a complaint.
9. HOW LONG WE KEEP INFORMATION
People who contacted us. If you submitted a form, subscribed, or contacted us, we keep your record until you ask us to delete it, so we can maintain an accurate history of our conversations with you.
Business contact information we sourced. If we obtained your business contact information from a business data provider, we keep it until you ask us to delete it. You may request deletion at any time and we will honor it. See Section 8.
Website analytics. Retained according to our analytics providers' standard settings, generally no more than 26 months.
Business and financial records. Retained as long as required by tax, accounting, and legal obligations.
10. HOW WE PROTECT INFORMATION
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including access controls, encrypted connections on our website, and limiting access to those who need it. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. CHILDREN
Our website and services are directed to business owners and operators, not to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 through our website. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. OTHER WEBSITES
Our website links to other websites and to social media platforms we do not control. This policy does not apply to those sites. Please review their privacy policies before providing them information.
13. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the Effective Date at the top. If we make a significant change in how we handle personal information, we will post a notice on our website. Please check back periodically.
